Support for adult learners
At Learning Resource Centre, I specialise in supporting adults who may have struggled with reading, spelling, or confidence for many years - often without ever having been formally assessed as children.
Many people describe it as feeling like they are constantly walking a tightrope: avoiding opportunities, not enrolling in courses, or turning down roles just to keep their literacy difficulties hidden.
Many adults only discover later in life that these challenges may be linked to dyslexia. I provide a calm, understanding environment and completely tailored learning experience where you can explore support options at your own pace.

Helping adults build confidence in reading, writing, and communication through tailored, supportive learning.
The lessons are well-structured and tailored to her learning needs, with a good balance of grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing. Sarah is amazing she has a unique way of making the sessions interactive and engaging, which keeps her motivated to learn.
What we appreciate the most is the personalised attention given to her and the regular feedback and progress updates ensure that we are always aware of her development.
Sarah-Jayne has been exceptional with my son. Concern was raised at school when he was in sixth form and this was a surprise to all of us. She assessed him with kindness, patience and professionalism.
Sarah-Jayne gave him practical strategies that he has implemented for his A level exams. He feels far more understood and equipped for the future.
I am incredibly grateful for her support and would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking assessment and guidance.
Sarah-Jayne... goes over and beyond and deals with you in such a compassionate way. It's very clear that her motive is to help, rather than profit.
I approached Sarah-Jayne in desperation and she swiftly helped me resolve this issue with the exam centre, she guided me through the whole process and liaised directly with the exam centre.
People like Sarah-Jayne restore hope and bring joy to such a child. Something as simple as being able to use a laptop in exams can make a huge difference in a child succeeding in exams.
I highly recommend her!
